How your Levuroy Jacket is made…
Part 1: Our manufacturers carve our flower designs onto a wooden block and then apply the dye to the raised surfaces of the block, and press the design onto our fabric.
Part 2. Once the fabric is dried and printed, the sewing begins, our manufacturers hand quilt the jackets with our 100% cotton filling, creating the lightweight & soft jackets you love.
Part 3: Once our jacket’s have been sewn together, our Levuroy label is sewn in and the finishing touches and quality control take place. Removing any fraying or unwanted threads.
Part 4: Our jackets are then shipped over to The Cotswolds where they are checked again for their quality. Any imperfect items we do find are kept aside for our “Nearly Perfect” collection, occasionally sold at our pop ups.
We aim to provide you all with true & authentic Indian block printed clothing so you can own a piece of Jaipur. This means we use little to no chemicals in the making of our pieces and aim to use natural dyes from fruits, flowers and vegetables wherever possible. Allowing us to bring these vibrant colours and designs to The Cotswolds.
We hope you love your waistcoats, skirts & jackets as much as we & our manufacturers do.
